3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles rookie wide receiver DeVonta Smith had his best game in the NFL so far in a Week 9 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. Smith was targeted six times, catching five of them for 116 yards and a touchdown. It was only the second touchdown of his career, and the 116 yards were good for the second most he's gained in a game. Quarterback Jalen Hurts only completed 11 passes for a total of 162 yards in a game where the Eagles focused on the running game, so Smith having a big game regardless was an excellent sign for him going forward. He and the Eagles get the Denver Broncos in Week 10.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
