3 years agoRunning back Josh Adams has inked a practice squad deal with the New Orleans Saints, per Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football. Adams appeared in one game earlier this season with the Jets, but he did not log an offensive snap. An undrafted free agent out of Notre Dame, Adams' most extended action came during his rookie year in 2018 with the Eagles when he appeared in 14 games (five starts) and logged 120 carries for 511 yards and three rushing touchdowns. Adams' path to fantasy relevance is an arduous one, as Alvin Kamara remains at the top of the Saints' backfield with Mark Ingram II and Dwayne Washington also in the mix.--Jesse Borek
