3 years agoNew Jersey Devils goaltender Mackenzie Blackwood allowed just three goals as the Devils won at home on Tuesday night. They sent the Florida Panthers to their second consecutive defeat. Blackwood stopped 35 of 38 shots in the contest. That included every last shot over the final 38:31 of the game. Blackwood helped kill both of Florida's power-play opportunities as New Jersey held firm. The key for New Jersey is that top six and then always goaltending. When Blackwood is on, he can stop a ton of shots. This was also his first win of the 2021-22 NHL season. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
