3 years agoNew York Islanders defenseman Ryan Pulock had five shots on goal as the Islanders went down to New Jersey 4-0 on Thursday. The crazy thing is that Pulock had so many opportunities in this game that he did not take. This feels like a recurring pattern for the Islanders blue-liner. When there is less pressure, Pulock is a shot-happy defender. When there is intensity, the blue-liner clams up. There were at least four or five chances that Pulock had for a wide-open opportunity. Each time he passed up on a shot. That is not a good sign for Pulock or the Islanders moving forward.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
