Thomas Greiss Plays Well In Loss Against Washington
3 years agoDetroit Red Wings goaltender Thomas Greiss had 10 seconds he wanted to forget in the loss against Washington on Thursday. Dmitry Orlov and Lars Eller got pucks by him in that span. That was all the Capitals needed in the 2-0 win in Detroit. Greiss stopped 27 of 29 shots in all. The goaltender dropped to 4-4 on the season while his goals-against average and save percentage both improved. It was that kind of night for the Red Wings and Greiss.
