Aaron Jones May Be Dealing With Sprained MCL
3 years agoUpdating an earlier report, Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones (knee) may have avoided serious ACL injury. The veteran was ruled out for the remainder of the Week 10 matchup against the Seahawks because of a right knee injury. However, although things didn't look good at the time -- mainly since Jones needed assistance off the field by medical staff -- team officials are under the impression that he sustained a sprained MCL, which would be good news considering the alternative of a season-ending torn ACL. Nonetheless, he will undergo further testing on Monday but it's not unreasonable to expect some absences moving ahead. If that's the case, A.J. Dillon will be in line for a more prominent role moving ahead.
