Bryan Reynolds Drawing Interest On The Trade Market
3 years agoPittsburgh Pirates outfielder Bryan Reynolds has been drawing interest from multiple teams on the trade market, including the New York Yankees and Seattle Mariners, according to Jon Morosi of MLB Network. The interest makes sense given the way he bounced back after a miserable 2020 season, slashing .302/.390/.522 with 24 HRs, 90 RBI, 93 runs scored, and five stolen bases during 159 games. Both clubs have open spots in the outfield, as the Yankees could let Brett Gardner walk after hitting the free agent market, and the Mariners project to start Jake Fraley in left field. However, the Pirates aren't in a rush to move the 26-year old, as he won't be a free agent until after 2025. Reynolds is a great batting average contributor and has 20+ home run potential, but he's in a weak Pirates lineup and won't steal many bases, hurting his value a bit.
