3 years agoColorado Avalanche forward J.T. Compher is set to miss a month of action with a lower-body injury. He sustained the injury in Saturday's 6-2 win over San Jose and it leaves Colorado very short at the center position. Nathan MacKinnon (lower body) was ruled out for three weeks on Nov. 10 and Mikko Rantanen is now expected to center the top line for a while. Compher has enjoyed a fine start to the season with five goals and nine points in 12 games, but it looks like he'll now miss around 13 games, starting with Wednesday's trip to Vancouver.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
