Brandon Belt Reportedly Accepts Qualifying Offer
3 years agoAccording to The New York Post's Joel Sherman, first baseman Brandon Belt is reportedly accepting the one-year qualifying offer. The veteran will stay with the San Francisco Giants after hitting a career-high 29 home runs in just 381 plate appearances last season. Belt also added three stolen bases while batting .274 with a .378 on-base percentage. He'll once again be a quality option at first base for fantasy managers drafting next spring, particularly if he keeps hitting home runs at the rate he did last season.
