3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back Jordan Howard (ankle) should retain a role in the running game regardless of whether Miles Sanders (ankle) is activated from injured reserve ahead of a Week 11 contest against the New Orleans Saints. It is currently unclear if Sanders will play in Week 11, but the Eagles did open his 21-day window to be activated from injured reserve and the team has made it clear that Sanders will be the starter once he's healthy. With Sanders on IR though, Howard has come in off the practice squad and been the overall RB14 in half-PPR formats despite not recording a single catch over the past three weeks. It's hard to imagine him losing his role altogether, even with Sanders playing as the nominal starter. For Week 11, Howard is a touchdown-upside RB2 if Sanders does not play, and a touchdown-dependent RB4 if he does.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
