Salvon Ahmed - Week 11 Outlook for Fantasy Football
3 years agoMiami Dolphins running back Salvon Ahmed has taken over as the primary backup with Malcolm Brown (quad) sidelined. It's uncertain when Brown will return, so Ahmed will remain the backup heading into the Week 11 matchup with the New York Jets. This is a favorable matchup for Ahmed against a defense that has allowed the most fantasy points to running backs this season. However, he has six rushing attempts for 12 yards over his last two games combined. Myles Gaskin continues taking a majority of the snaps and that will likely remain the case again this week. Ahmed should get involved and possibly more than he has lately, but he won't be worth starting in any fantasy formats. He might be worth holding in deep leagues or dynasty formats because he'd become the starter if Gaskin was to suffer an injury.
