Devontae Booker Earns Questionable Tag For Monday
3 years agoNew York Giants running back Devontae Booker (hip) has officially been designated questionable to play in Monday's game against Tampa Bay due to a hip ailment. Booker had been limited all week at practice, alongside Saquan Barkley (ankle), whose status is equally imperative to cracking the code of the Giants' backfield. If one of the two suits up, fantasy managers can expect them to see the lion's share of carries; if neither plays, Gary Brightwell would likely be in line for a significant role in what would be his first professional start. Booker has been a solid RB2 when holding down lead back duties for New York this season, having averaged 15.6 carries over the past five weeks. His murky status likely means that fantasy managers with commensurate talent should err on the side of caution as it pertains to lineups that lock Sunday.
