3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back Boston Scott played a minor role, as expected, in a Week 11 win over the New Orleans Saints. Scott ran the ball six times, picking up 16 yards on the ground and also caught two passes but only gained two yards total through the air. With Miles Sanders (ankle) back after three games on short-term Injured Reserve, Scott was expected to take a back seat to Sanders and Jordan Howard. With rookie Kenneth Gainwell inactive, Scott at least worked a bit in the passing-down role, but he was the only Eagles running back to average under six yards per carry. He'll likely continue to have a role as a supporting piece in the backfield, but even with Jordan Howard (knee) forced to leave this game early, Scott won't see much of an uptick in value.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
