Duke Johnson Makes Team Debut In Week 11
3 years agoMiami Dolphins running back Duke Johnson saw his first action with his new team in Week 11. The veteran back was asked to take over as the No. 2 option with Malcolm Brown (quad) sidelined and Salvon Ahmed a healthy scratch. Johnson rushed four times for 18 yards in the win over the New York Jets. Lead back Myles Gaskin carried the ball a season-high 23 times in this one. That being said, it doesn't sound like the Dolphins have plans of getting Johnson significantly involved going forward. He won't be a viable fantasy option heading into the Week 12 matchup with the Carolina Panthers.
