3 years agoThe Milwaukee Brewers have signed free-agent catcher Pedro Severino to a one-year, $1.9 million deal with a possible $400,ooo in incentives, according to ESPN's Jeff Passan. Severino spent the past three seasons with the Baltimore Orioles, putting up below-average offensive numbers every year. Last season was his worst in Baltimore, as he slashed .248/.308/.383 with 11 home runs, 46 RBI and 32 runs. He'll compete for at-bats with fellow catcher Omar Narvaez, with the latter penciled in as the starter heading into next season. Severino has little fantasy value and should only be drafted in deep two-catcher leagues.--Spencer Seguin - RotoBaller
