3 years agoBuffalo Sabres forward Tage Thompson picked up two points in Sunday's 5-4 loss to the Rangers, scoring his sixth goal of the season and bagging his fifth assist on a Rasmus Dahlin goal. Dahlin also enjoyed a multi-point outing. Thompson now leads the team in goals, and he's tied with Rasmus Asplund for most points (11). The University of Connecticut product collected only 14 points in 38 appearances a season ago, so Thompson has taken a big step forward in his development, and he could easily eclipse his last season's mark during a busy four-game week, which starts on Monday against Columbus.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
