Dodgers Only Interested In Corey Seager Among Top Shortstops
3 years agoThe Los Angeles Dodgers are making an effort to try to bring free agent shortstop Corey Seager back into the fold for 2022, but they have not expressed any serious interest in the other top available shortstops. With Trea Turner on the roster, Los Angeles is prepared to roll with one of those two at shortstop for the upcoming season. If Seager returns, Turner would remain at second base, where he finished the 2021 campaign after coming over from the Nationals. Seager slashed .306/.394/.521 with 16 home runs, 54 runs scored, and 57 RBI in his 95 2021 games, and counts the Yankees and Rangers among his suitors. He'll be a fantasy force regardless of destination, though he would get a boost from the stacked Dodgers lineup.
