3 years agoMinnesota Wild defenseman Jared Spurgeon (lower body) is considered week-to-week after getting hurt in Saturday's 5-4 loss to Florida. The Wild captain already missed one game on Sunday against Tampa and sadly won't be able to help his side in the upcoming games either. The 31-year-old has racked up eight points in 17 games this season with 28 shots, 14 hits and 23 blocks. He's formed a well-working unit with Alex Goligoski on the first defensive pairing, with the two combining for 19 points. Jon Merrill has currently taken over Spurgeon's spot and Jordie Benn joined the lineup on Sunday.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
