3 years agoWashington Capitals left wing Alex Ovechkin recorded another hat trick in Wednesday's 6-3 win over Montreal, but this time with assists. He collected a power-play helper in the first period and went on to collect two even-strength assists in the next two periods. Ovi now has five games with at least three points the season. He's one of only two players in the league with 15-plus goals and 15-plus assists. The Capitals captain is also among the league leaders with a plus-15 rating, which must be a very pleasant surprise for fantasy managers, as Ovechkin does a lot of his damage with the man advantage and tends to carry a minus-rating.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
