Michael Carter Lands On The Injured Reserve List
3 years agoNew York Jets running back Michael Carter (ankle) was placed on injured reserve on Saturday night. The move isn't a surprise, primarily after he sustained a high-ankle sprain during the narrow loss to Miami in Week 11. The rookie has played well this season by rushing for 430 rushing yards and four touchdowns while adding 32 catches for 308 yards, so this is surely a blow to a team that's already had its share of struggles. Nonetheless, while Carter is expected to remain out through Week 14, he may be out longer considering the nature of the injury. As a result, Tevin Coleman will likely get most of the carries out of the backfield moving ahead and should be added to fantasy teams immediately, regardless of the format.
