3 years agoCalgary Flames goaltender Jacob Markstrom stopped 21 of 22 shots in the 2-1 shootout win over the Pittsburgh Penguins. Markstrom won his ninth game of the season and got back in the win column after a home loss to the Winnipeg Jets on Saturday night. The good thing for the Calgary goalie is that he has seen 30 or fewer shots in nine of his previous 11 starts. He did turn away all but one shot even in the shootout. Markstrom moved to 9-4-4 on the season with five shutouts for Calgary. Expect the goaltender to start the first leg of Calgary's "California trip" on Thursday in Los Angeles.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
