3 years agoArizona Coyotes goaltender Karel Vejmelka had a huge night on Monday against the Jets, recording his first career shutout with 46 saves. Arizona got outshot 46-15 but Vejmelka's magnificent performance helped them to a 1-0 victory. The 25-year-old has now won back-to-back starts after going 0-9-1 in his first 10 decisions this season. Scott Wedgewood, who is 3-5-2 for the season, has gotten most of the starts in recent weeks, but Vejmelka surely improved his stock here.
