Joey Slye Suffers Hamstring Injury, Will Miss A Minimum Of Three Weeks
3 years agoWashington Football Team kicker Joey Slye (hamstring) will miss at least three weeks after suffering a hamstring injury after a botched extra-point attempt that went the other way for two points. Slye was able to convert his only field-goal attempt of the night before his departure from the game, which keeps his field goal percentage at 100% since he has joined Washington. Washington was forced to go for it on fourth down and two-point conversions without a reliable kicker, so they will now look for their fourth starting kicker of the season with Slye set to miss some action.
