3 years agoFlorida Panthers defenseman Matt Kiersted will make his third appearance of the season on Tuesday against Washington, replacing Gustav Forsling (lower body) on the second defensive pairing. The Swedish blue-liner was injured in Saturday's 4-1 loss to Seattle and is listed week-to-week, so Kiersted could be set for a decent run in the lineup now. The 23-year-old has picked up one assist with two shots, two hits and three blocks in his previous two outings.
