David Johnson Unlikely To Play In Week 13
3 years agoHouston Texans running back David Johnson (thigh, illness) is not expected to play against the Colts on Sunday, reports Adam Schefter of ESPN. This is hardly a surprise considering Johnson did not practice this week. With the 29-year-old set for the inactive list, Houston will deploy Rex Burkhead as its starter, followed by Royce Freeman and Jaylen Samuels in depth roles. Of the trio, Burkhead is the only one with fantasy relevance. Even then, he falls into the mid-range RB3 territory due to the struggles of the Texans' offense and the prowess of the Colts' defense.
