3 years agoChicago Blackhawks forward Jujhar Khaira was stretchered off the ice in the second period in Tuesday's loss to the Rangers after taking a hit from Jacob Trouba. He was taken straight to a hospital and the 27-year-old was luckily discharged on Wednesday. "Despite the significant injury, his prognosis is excellent, and we expect a full recovery. At this point, it is too early to put a timeline on return to play," said Chicago's team physician Dr. Michael Terry in a statement. Khaira skated in his 18th game of the season on Tuesday. He's recorded two goals, 20 shots and 64 hits during his first year in Chicago.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
