3 years agoBoston Bruins defenseman Charlie McAvoy (illness) will be back in the lineup on Wednesday against Vancouver after missing Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to Tampa. He was ruled out at the weekend with a non-COVID related illness, but the 23-year-old has made a quick recovery. McAvoy logs over 24 minutes a night, so he's a huge piece for the team at both ends of the ice. The Long Beach, New York native is averaging a career-high 0.70 points per game this season, boasting three goals and 11 assists in 20 outings.
