3 years agoThe Los Angeles Rams signed running back Mekhi Sargent to their active roster on Wednesday. Sargent was elevated from the practice squad to the active roster in Week 13 against the Jacksonville Jaguars and saw two carries for five yards. Darrell Henderson Jr. (thigh) was officially active, but he didn't play a single offensive snap. The fact that the Rams have already added Sargent back to the active roster for Week 14 against the Arizona Cardinals on Monday night doesn't bode well for Henderson returning to the lead-back role. We'll keep a close eye on Henderson's practice status this week. Sony Michel filled in nicely against the Jags, carrying the rock 24 times for a season-high 121 yards and a touchdown and adding three catches for eight yards. Michel would once again be in RB2 consideration if Henderson is out or relegated to backup duties.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
