3 years agoDetroit Lions tight end T.J. Hockenson (hand) is not taking part in the period of practice open to the media on Thursday, and he had his left hand wrapped pretty good. A DNP on Thursday wouldn't be a good sign for Hockenson after he was limited in practice to begin the week on Wednesday. His status on Friday will be key for his availability heading into the Week 14 game against the Denver Broncos. If Hockenson cannot play, rookie Brock Wright would likely become the team's starting tight end. But if Hockenson's hand injury isn't serious enough to keep him out, he'll remain firmly in the TE1 picture. The Broncos have done a good job at limiting opposing TEs this year from a fantasy perspective, but Hockenson has scored in back-to-back weeks and remains one of quarterback Jared Goff's top targets.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
