3 years agoChicago Blackhawks center Henrik Borgstrom has earned an opportunity to play with Alex DeBrincat and Patrick Kane on Thursday against Montreal. The Blackhawks have been rolling with their big guns Kane and Jonathan Toews together lately, but Chicago's captain now drops down to the second line with Brandon Hagel, who's also been on first-line duty in recent games. Borgstrom has been a bottom-six forward for the team, who doesn't provide much on the offensive front. He's stuck on just two points for the year and hasn't added to his tally since the start of last month.
