Chase Claypool Finishes With 93 Yards
3 years agoPittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool had an efficient night in a 36-28 loss to the Minnesota Vikings as he caught eight of nine targets for 93 yards on Thursday night. Claypool finished as Pittsburgh's leading receiver on the evening while also adding a two-yard run. While Claypool's final line looks nice, he was also benched briefly during the loss after a series of miscues, including an unnecessary roughness penalty in the first quarter. Later, upon returning, he cost the Steelers valuable time on their final drive by celebrating a first down when the team was out of timeouts. Claypool has put together a string of useful fantasy performances of late, as he has 13 catches for 227 yards over his past three games. He will remain a boom/bust WR3 in Week 15 against the Tennessee Titans.
