Oliver Ekman-Larsson Done For The Week
3 years agoVancouver Canucks defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson (undisclosed) won't play on Friday against Winnipeg and will also miss Sunday's clash with Carolina. He dropped out of the lineup on Wednesday against Boston, and new Canucks head coach Bruce Boudreau expects to have the Swede available again next week. It's not been a very good debut campaign in Canada for OEL, as he's managed only five points in 26 games with 74 shots and 37 hits. With Travis Hamonic (lower body) also out, Vancouver will go with Quinn Hughes and Luke Schenn as the first defensive pairing on Friday. Tyler Myers and Tucker Poolman will form the second pairing.
