3 years agoDetroit Lions running back Jamaal Williams won't suit up on Sunday against the Broncos while adhering to the league's safety protocols surrounding COVID-19. Without a doubt, Williams' absence couldn't come at a worse time, especially since D'Andre Swift (shoulder) will miss his second consecutive outing after getting banged up on Thanksgiving. Nonetheless, Jermar Jefferson is the favorite to receive most of the carries out of the backfield in Week 14, although Godwin Igwebuike could steal a few touches.
