Laviska Shenault Jr. Records Just 34 Receiving Yards In Loss
3 years agoJacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Laviska Shenault Jr. caught four of seven targets for 34 yards in a 20-0 shutout loss to the Titans in Week 14. Despite a truly elite matchup against the most generous secondary in the NFL, Shenault just couldn't get it done. The pattern is clear at this point, as the second-year wideout has now failed to reach 35 yards receiving in six of his last seven games. There was hope that a move back into the slot could result in a late-season resurgence for Shenault, but there's no reason to believe that better days are ahead as the entire Jaguars offense continues to be historically poor. Shenault should be considered just a low ceiling WR5 going forward.
