Kareem Hunt Getting MRI Monday, Ankle Injury Not Believed Serious
3 years agoCleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt (ankle) will go for a precautionary MRI on Monday. Hunt left his team's 24-22 win over the Baltimore Ravens during the first half after he injured his ankle while being tackled, but the injury does not appear to be serious. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, both Hunt and the Browns felt that he could have returned to the game if needed. Head coach Kevin Stefanski told reporters, "He wanted to try and fight through it, but just did not think we should put him back out there." This is good news for fantasy gamers counting on Hunt heading into the fantasy playoffs as it appears he dodged a bullet here. For now, fantasy managers can tentatively plan on having Hunt for Week 15's plus matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders, although his participation in practice throughout the week still warrants watching.
