Austin Ekeler - Week 15 Outlook for Fantasy Football
3 years agoLos Angeles Chargers running back Austin Ekeler (ankle) left Week 14's contest early with an ankle injury and was limited in practice on Tuesday, but he is fully expected to suit up against the division-rival Kansas City Chiefs in Week 15. The star running back picked up 55 rushing yards with six receptions for 52 yards and a touchdown in a Week 3 victory against the Chiefs, and he will look to put together another positive outing on Thursday. The Chiefs defense has been good against the run and are allowing 81 yards per game to the position and just under seven receptions and 58 yards a game in the passing game. Ekeler makes his money in the passing game, and fantasy managers should expect him to be heavily involved on Thursday. Managers should still monitor his situation and insure him with Justin Jackson and/or Joshua Kelley to be safe. As long as he dresses, Ekeler can be expected to be an RB1 in Week 15.
