3 years agoWashington Football Team quarterback Taylor Heinicke (knee) is still on track to play in Week 15 against the division-rival Philadelphia Eagles, but he's banged up after taking a nasty hit in the Week 14 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Washington placed backup Kyle Allen on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Wednesday. The team has Kyle Shurmur on their practice squad and signed Jordan Ta'amu to the practice squad for more depth at the position. Washington's offense should have a much easier time moving the football against Philadelphia this weekend, but it remains to be seen if Heinicke will have his No. 1 receiver in Terry McLaurin after he was injured last week. A less than 100% Heinicke will be a low-end QB2 for fantasy managers in the first week of the fantasy playoffs in most leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
