3 years agoNew York Jets head coach Robert Saleh said that running back Michael Carter (ankle) will come off Injured Reserve and is expected to play on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins. The Jets opened Carter's 21-day practice window on Wednesday, and he got in a full practice. The Jets backfield is fully healthy, with Tevin Coleman (concussion) also practicing in full on Wednesday after missing the Week 14 game. Carter has been on IR since spraining his ankle in Week 11, though, so it remains to be seen if he'll return immediately to a full workload, especially since the Jets have other options to pick up the slack in the backfield. Ty Johnson could also see work if the Jets don't feel that Carter or Coleman are ready to be featured. It's shaping up to be a tough backfield to predict against Miami in Week 15.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
