3 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown (suspension, ankle) is expected to rejoin the team in the coming week, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Brown (along with defensive back Mike Edwards and free agent wide receiver John Franklin III) were suspended earlier this month after an investigation determined they violated the joint NFL-NFLPA COVID-19 protocols. Although head coach Bruce Arians previously made it clear that any further issues could result in Brown's release, it appears the veteran wideout remains on the team for the time being. His ankle injury has healed and he should return to action against the Panthers next week. The 33-year-old caught 29 passes for 418 yards and four touchdowns through parts of five games earlier this year. He'll rank as a high-end WR3 in a busy Tampa Bay offense.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBaller
