Brandin Cooks Tops 100 Yards Again In Week 15
3 years agoHouston Texans wide receiver Brandin Cooks topped 100 receiving yards for the second week in a row in Week 15. Cooks managed seven catches on 10 targets for 102 yards and two touchdowns. The Texans jumped out to a lead early, which depressed their expected passing volume, but Cooks still managed his impressive line. Rookie quarterback Davis Mills seems to be honing in on Cooks, and the matchup against the bottom-ranked Jaguars pass defense likely helped. The Texans get the Chargers' ninth-ranked pass defense in DVOA next week, so it shouldn't be quite so easy for Cooks. That said, he remains a solid WR3 option going into the final weeks of the season.
