Mike Gesicki Disappointing Versus Jets
3 years agoMiami Dolphins tight end Mike Gesicki was expected to have a big game with wide receiver Jaylen Waddle sidelined due to protocols. However, the big tight end wasn't able to make much of an impact in Week 15. He hauled in five of his eight targets for 43 yards in the win over the New York Jets. To be fair, it wasn't all his fault with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa missing him in the end zone. The young quarterback struggled to find his receivers all game long. Gesicki hasn't scored a touchdown since Week 7, which certainly has hurt his value. The return of Waddle in Week 16 won't boost Gesicki's value against the New Orleans Saints. That being said, fantasy managers should consider him a low-end TE1 next week.
