3 years agoNew York Giants head coach Joe Judge is optimistic that rookie wide receiver Kadarius Toney (oblique) can return to practice on Wednesday once he clears the league's COVID-19 protocols. Toney's oblique injury is something that still needs to be monitored, but it sounds as though he'll have a chance to return for the final three weeks of the 2021 season. The 22-year-old first-rounder hasn't been on the field since Week 11, but there's a chance that he could play in Week 16 against the Philadelphia Eagles. Toney would have an opportunity to serve as the No. 2 receiver next to Kenny Golladay now that Sterling Shepard (Achilles) is done for the year, but with the Giants deciding between Mike Glennon and Jake Fromm at quarterback, fantasy managers probably shouldn't consider Toney as anything more than a WR4/5 the rest of the way.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
