3 years agoThe Tennessee Titans are activating wide receiver A.J. Brown (chest) from Injured Reserve in order to play on Thursday night against the San Francisco 49ers. Brown was designated to return from IR earlier this week and didn't have any setbacks in practice. So the Titans will have both Brown and Julio Jones (hamstring) active in Week 16, which makes quarterback Ryan Tannehill a more appealing QB2 streamer. The 24-year-old Brown has been out since Week 11, but he should still operate as the Titans No. 1 receiving threat against a 49ers defense that has given up the second-most fantasy points per game to WRs in the last three weeks. Brown and Jones both playing is bad news for fantasy managers that were planning to run with Nick Westbrook-Ikhine in a flex spot in deeper formats. Consider Brown a more volatile WR2 in his return.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
