3 years agoDenver Broncos rookie running back Javonte Williams (knee) has been cleared to play in Week 16 against the Las Vegas Raiders. The second-rounder leads the team in rushing (815 yards), is second in carries (170) behind Melvin Gordon and has six total touchdowns (three rushing, three receiving). He's also fourth on the team with 38 catches. Williams may not have as many fantasy points as Gordon because he hasn't visited the end zone as much, but his physicality and tackle-breaking ability is superior. The Broncos will continue to split the workload evenly between Williams and Gordon -- they are only four carries apart all year -- which will cap Williams' ceiling, but he still has the chance to be a strong RB2 this week for fantasy managers against a Raiders defense ranked 25th against the run in 2021.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
