3 years agoHouston Texans running back Rex Burkhead should lead the backfield against the Chargers in Week 16. Burkhead's counterpart, David Johnson (quadriceps), is questionable to play this week. Regardless of whether or not Johnson plays, Burkhead is the leader of this backfield. That said, if Johnson misses the game, Burkhead will then split the workload with Royce Freeman. Either way, the workload should be split. The matchup is very good against the Chargers' 31st-ranked run defense in DVOA. However, the game script should force the Texans to pass the ball a ton. None of the Texans running backs are viable as they continue to split work in a low-upside offense.--Jacob Taylor
