Miles Sanders Suffers Broken Hand, Will Have Additional Testing
3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back Miles Sanders (hand) was confirmed to have suffered a broken bone in his hand after exiting Sunday's win over the New York Giants. He will have additional testing done to see if there is any further damage, but there is a chance that he is able to play through the injury. Boston Scott found the end zone after his departure from the game, so he would once again be a top waiver pickup if Sanders is unable to play through his injury. Jordan Howard left the game with a stinger after carrying the ball nine times for 37 yards, so he is another name to monitor going into Week 17. If Sanders is out for the team's Week 17 showdown with the Washington Football Team, Howard and Scott could both have FLEX appeal due to the run-heavy Philadelphia offense.
