3 years agoLos Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay said there's a possibility that running back Cam Akers (Achilles) plays in Week 17 against the Baltimore Ravens. The Rams activated Akers from Injured Reserve last week, and now there's a chance that he'll see action to finish off the regular season after the Rams placed Darrell Henderson Jr. (knee) on IR. However, fantasy managers expecting the 22-year-old Akers to have much of a role down the stretch and into the playoffs should temper their expectations. Akers hasn't played at all in 2021 after tearing his Achilles back in July. Besides, Sony Michel has looked great as the Rams lead back in the last four games with Henderson coming back from injury, and rookie Jake Funk is more than capable of handling a change-of-pace role.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
