3 years agoThe Washington Football Team placed running back Antonio Gibson and left guard Ereck Flowers on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Friday. There's a chance that Gibson and Flowers test out of the COVID protocols, but it's highly unlikely that will happen before Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Fantasy managers that were planning on starting Gibson in their championship matchups will have to look elsewhere. It's a huge blow to a Washington offense that couldn't do much in last week's blowout loss to the Dallas Cowboys, where Gibson was really their only bright spot. Rookie Jarret Patterson should handle the bulk of the backfield work against Philly, with Jonathan Williams serving as a change of pace.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
