3 years agoThere is a real possibility that Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer will be coaching his final game with the team in the Week 18 regular season finale on Sunday against the Chicago Bears, but owners Zygi and Mark Wilf have kept their plans close to the vest, according to sources. Several sources with knowledge of the coaching landscape say the belief is the Vikings will move on from Zimmer after eight seasons as the head coach. Zimmer is 71-56-1, third behind only Hall of Fame coach Bud Grant and Dennis Green in wins and win percentage in team history, but the Vikings have missed the playoffs five times in eight seasons. Minnesota's defense has been bad for a second straight season and ranks 31st in yards allowed and 25th in scoring entering Week 18.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
