Darrel Williams Expected To Be Available Against Steelers
3 years agoKansas City Chiefs running back Darrel Williams (toe), who suffered a toe injury in the Week 18 win over the Denver Broncos on Saturday, is expected to be ready to play in the wild-card round of the playoffs against the Pittsburgh Steelers. "It's still a little tender, but he's working through that and we'll see how it goes this week...I'd anticipate him going," head coach Andy Reid said. Williams had only seven carries for 17 yards and caught three of his four targets for 30 yards as the lead back before leaving the game. Jerick McKinnon and Derrick Gore chipped in the rest of the way with Clyde Edwards-Helaire (shoulder) missing his second straight game. If CEH is forced to miss another game, Williams will have RB1 upside against Pittsburgh's shaky run defense this weekend.
